Maintenance and Housekeeping

Free from managing the “chores” of traditional living, residents at Tarentum Care can truly make the most of their day spending time with friends and doing their favorite activities. We provide the following maintenance services:

  • Weekly housekeeping and daily trash removal
  • Weekly personal laundry
  • Maintenance of community areas and outdoor grounds

Wellness and Support Groups

Social interaction with others and participation in regular exercise and wellness checkups are an integral part of resident support at Tarentum Care. Tarentum Care residents have access to the following wellness support on site:

  • Monthly wellness visits by a licensed on-staff nurse
  • Indoor communal spaces for sharing and gathering
  • Outdoor walking paths and social gathering areas
  • Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group for family members

Ways to Volunteer

Tarentum Care provides many opportunities for residents to stay involved with the community. Through sharing their favorite holidays, activities and causes, Tarentum Care residents can enjoy valuable interaction with members of other generations. Here are two popular community events shared with Tarentum Care:

  • Annual Walk to end Alzheimer’s sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association
  • The annual Valentine’s Day celebration with the Tarentum Firefighters' Association
